The Art Series Hotel is inspired by Australian contemporary artists that showcase artwork and prints throughout the hotels. The series gives anyone staying in the hotels a personalised service showcasing the latest technology and custom furnishings that provide a unique stay.
Adnate is a Melbourne artist know for his influential wall murals using spray paint to portray indigenous people. His artwork at the new Perth hotel will be one of worlds tallest wall artworks and a first for the Art Series Hotels.
There will be a 27 Storey mural on the west side of the hotel that will be the largest artwork that Matt Adnate has create and will represent the cultural history of Perth.
Adnate has said “I see this hotel as a beautiful canvas to tell a story about Perth’s cultural and community connection through portraiture and traditional elements. My Mega Mural will feature three large-scale portraits. It will represent the past through the cultural representation in the subject’s dressing elements, the present with contemporary faces, and the future as the subjects are the youth of today.”
Newly named hotel ‘The Adnate’ will showcase a chic international home for food bringing a Mediterranean style restaurant that will be serving cocktails around the pool on level one.
You can currently Art Series Hotels throughout Australia based in South Yara, Prahan, The Chen, Box Hill and The Fantauzzo in Brisbane.
There will be more to come including an opening date for the new Hotel set to open soon.
